Cross-country skiing is one of the most popular sports in Norway. Find out why on a 4-5 hour excursion in the beautiful Hardanger valley! Perfect for sporty people who are new to skiing, this activity provides you with all the equipment and the instruction necessary to improve your skills on skis. Your guide will help you out along the way and will show you all of the basics such as how to glide (also called diagonal skiing), how to use your poles proactively, as well as other useful techniques on flat terrain. They will also provide you with insider knowledge of the Hardanger region and its beautiful scenery. Ideal for a physical, educational, and stress-free experience out on Hardangervidda's ski trails!
There are many different parts of the region that are ideal for cross-country skiing. The meet-up location and exact itinerary can be decided based on convenience following the booking request.
Don't hesitate to bring your camera so that your guide can take a great shot of your group as you master the art of cross-country skiing!
No previous skiing experience is required to join this tour. However, being in good physical condition is recommended. This activity is not recommended for people with troublesome knees.
